Joseph artist Mark Kortnik shows off his newest oil painting, “Land of the Winding Waters” before sending it off recently to Charles Astleford of Buckeye, Ariz., who commissioned the work.

Mark's latest commissioned oil painting historically illustrating the Nez Perce people some 200 years ago, camped along Prairie Creek , Wallowa County, Oregon.
