This original oil was a 28' x 36" commissioned painting and depicts the Nez Perce tribe camped along Prairie Creek some 200 years ago in what is now known as Wallowa County, Oregon. It is historically accurate in showing this early Autumn encampment where the Nez Perce people would have also fished in the winding creek that still exists today. The Wallowa mountains are the backdrop from where the waters flow. This original is sold, but Giclee' limited edition prints are available.
